Posts are removed for a variety of reasons. Here are the most common reasons and additional explanations.
Your post was not G-Suite related:
This group is focused solely on Google Suite for Education. This means if your post is not about G-Suite, we will remove it. We understand educators have many, many needs, especially these days. However, if we allowed everyone to post their social/emotional/meme/rant the posts where teachers are asking questions would get lost. There are other groups for the other types of posts.
Promotional/Spam posts:
Posts that refer to any site that requires memberships.
Posts that request email addresses or personal information.
Posts directly seeking subscribers/members.
Good information will lead to subscribers/members, no need to ask.
Posts offering paid support or advertising a paid site.
Webinar/Live Streams not pre-approved by Admin:
We want to support collaboration. We also want to make sure such posts are legitimate and support best practices.
Look At What I Did posts:
These posts are meant to show off work someone has done, but offers no real support.
These posts clutter the feed. Please add them to the appropriate album. People are looking there for examples all the time.
Duplicate Posts:
If you have already posted, please do not reword and repost each week. You can add a tag and people can find it that way. Repeated posting of the same material begins to look like a promotional post.
First, realize we harbor no ill intent. We are doing our best and sometimes we make mistakes as well. Feel free to reach out to any of the moderators or admin of the group. We are always happy to help. We wish to support collaboration and personal growth.
